Trash Pickup is on Thursday. Poly carts are provided by Republic Services at no charge.
Curbside service is available biweekly on alternating Thursdays. A container will be provided. A pickup schedule is available from City Hall.
One large dumpster for co-mingled recyclables is located behind City Hall for residents who do not need biweekly curbside service.
Water and Sewer Billing
THE WATER RATE FOR WATER SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS OF THE WATERWORKS SYSTEM OF THE CITY OF FORSYTH MISSOURI SHALL BE AS FOLLOWS.
$11.75 FOR THE FIRST 1,000 GALLONS
$3.75 FOR EACH ADDITIONAL 1,000 GALLONS OVER 1,000 GALLONS
A RATE OF $25.00 TO HAVE WATER DISCONNECTED AND THEN TURNED BACK ON.
A RATE OF $50.00 RECONNECT FEE IF WATER IS TURNED OFF DUE TO THE NON-PAYMENT OF A WATER BILL, PLUS THE AMOUNT ON THE BILL BEFORE SERVICE WILL BE RESTORED.
SEWER FOR RESIDENTIAL USAGE IS CHARGED BY USING THE WATER GALLONS FOR THE THREE (3) WINTER MONTHS, JANUARY, FEBRUARY, AND MARCH, THEN DIVIDING BY THREE (3) FOR AN AVERAGE USAGE.
THIS IS CHARGED AT $12.50 FOR A BASE AND $3.75 PER 1,000 GALLONS OF WATER USED, WITH THE ABOVE RATE CHARGED FOR THE NEXT TWELVE (12) MONTHS.
NEW CUSTOMERS ARE CHARGED A MINIMUM FOR THE FIRST THREE (3) MONTHS OF SERVICE, THEN AN AVERAGE USING THESE (3) MONTHS.
SEWER RATES ARE RECOMPUTED EACH YEAR.
COMMERCIAL USERS ARE CHARGED SEWER ON THE AMOUNT OF WATER USED EACH MONTH.
A $100.00 UTILITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR RESIDENTIAL CUSTOMERS TO START SERVICE.
A $200.00 UTILITY DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED FOR COMMERCIAL CUSTOMERS.
